The SD60 Series features a 25x optical zoom and an Intelligent Zoom function that goes all the way up to 35x. When using Intelligent Zoom, Intelligent Resolution technology lets you shoot at high zoom rates while preserving the image resolution. You get sharp images of highly detailed objects without the blurry edges. Plus, POWER O.I.S. suppresses even slight hand-shake, which is a must for extreme zooming, because of its high susceptibility to hand-shake.

Should I Buy a 3D TV?

!±8± Should I Buy a 3D TV?

3D will soon revolutionize the way we watch movies and TV shows. The emerging technology is already being offered to the public - but is now the time to invest in a new TV?

Introduction.

The chances are, if you are considering purchasing a 3D TV, you have seen a movie in 3D at your local cinema. The extra depth really creates a new experience when watching a movie, and some films even have objects that appear to fly out of the screen - with members of the audience raising their hands to stop them from hitting into their face.

With such a dramatic improvement to films - who wouldn't want to have the same experience at home.

Home 3D TVs

Some 3Ds have a way of trying to add 3D to all shows - even if they are not recorded in 3D. If the TV does not have this feature, you will need a special BluRay Player and a special TV.

The current systems also use different glasses to the ones at the cinema, the home ones require batteries - and are very expensive compared to the free ones at the cinema.

There are also a very limited number of true 3D releases. Soon  new TV channels will be created broadcasting new 3D content - sports, movies, shows - but right now the choice is limited.

Some reports also indicate that to experience the 3D at home, you would have to sit much closer to the screen that most typical people site.

Depending on your budget, it would be worth reading into the benefits and problems of the 3D TVs available before making a purchase.
